There are few regrets I hold in my life as I believe largely that regrets are a waste of time. I will admit I wish I had known about this wonderful little gem even just a few years ago. There is an amazing community of people all writing together this month. I have done digital write ins at 7 pm and at 5 am. We are all just writing when, as much as we can, as fast as we can. I have hit my word goal of 1671 per day all the days but two. Four of the days so far I have gone over my word count to make up for the inevitable life happens moments.
The second book is coming together and what’s amazing is I have the coolest idea for a new book! Like a genuine diamond of an idea. It will take a while to flesh out but this may be my new project. All stemmed from the act of using that writing muscle. The more you write the more you’ll think about writing and my children enjoy being somewhat neglected …. they do.
I have 600 words left today, 5 children in my house all under the age of 8, a husband to pick up at the airport and friends giving to attend. I don’t know why I”m talking to you people :).
Needed a break I guess, keep on writing, if you haven’t started get your but in gear …
